Gajan Pathmanathan is an Engineering Leader at Quicken Loans, the nation’s largest
mortgage lender, which is based in Detroit, Michigan. He has over 15 years of experience
as a technologist, and has worn many hats such as engineer, leader, conference speaker,
and trainer. Gajan currently leads a cross functional team of Software Quality Architects,
and Software Engineers, where he is responsible for implementing solutions and
strategies for quality capabilities across the enterprise for 200+ teams. Before joining
Quicken Loans, he worked at Intel, McAfee, Virtusa and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

He holds a master’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Waterloo,
Canada. He has given guest lectures at technical institutes and speaks regularly at
technical conferences across Canada and the United States. When not tinkering around
with technologies or spending time with his family, he loves to read books and do home
improvement projects.
